What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is an ancient hands-on technique, introduced to the West in 1913 in its initial form, by Dr Fitzgerald, an ear, nose and throat consultant. It was further developed by Eunice Ingham in the 1930’s who mapped the body onto the feet, giving us the modern form with which we are most familiar today.
Anatomical knowledge is used to apply pressure over the complex nerve ending network in the human face, feet and hands. The system incorporates traditional Chinese principles of meridians and acupressure. By stimulating precise reflex points on the face, feet or hands, the body’s energy flow is significantly improved, and the result is enhanced physical, mental and emotional well-being.
Facial Reflexology Sorensensistem™
This is a modern holistic therapy with a fresh approach to everyday well-being. Developed by Lone Sorensen, this contemporary treatment brings together Chinese energy meridians and face acupuncture points with South American and Vietnamese body maps. When the face is treated it may initiate a natural improvement in blood circulation, muscle tone and nerve supply to the face and head.
A facial reflexology treatment begins with a refreshing cleansing of your face. This is followed by deeply relaxing stimulation of facial acupuncture points. Next comes the layering of body maps on the face using a mixture of intense long strokes and shorter quick pulsating movements. The treatment finishes with a balancing face massage.
Facial reflexology stimulates the body to respond on all levels. It focuses on the potential improvements in how you look and feel. Clients have noted that a treatment helps reduce stress and anxiety.
Japanese Face Lift Massage Sorensensistem™
Do you like things that are natural? Japanese face lift massage has the superb potential for natural health and relaxation advantages. A more natural alternative to dermal fillers, designed to ease taut facial muscles, and potentially reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
A Japanese face lift massage treatment begins with a white clay mask to cleanse and help detoxify the skin, then a sequence of Japanese acupressure, reflexology and lymphatic drainage techniques. This works as a deep treatment of the outer layer of the skin potentially resulting in equilibrium of the whole body. The treatment is completed with a nourishing mosqueta rose face mask to enhance the lifting effect. Naturally occurring elements in mosqueta rose have a potential to remove older skin cells enabling fresher looking skin cells to come to the surface. This may result in healthier, radiant and a younger-looking face, as well as a real sense of well-being.

"We do not grow absolutely, chronologically. We grow sometimes in one dimension, and not in another; unevenly. We grow partially. We are relative. We are mature in one realm, childish in another. The past, present, and the future mingle and pull us backward, forward, or fix us to the present. We are made up of layers, cells, constellations."
